Nominations for the 2013 Big Awards industry awards are due August 23, 2013 (deadline extended). Then our judges take over to read, score and analyze the submissions to determine who will be honored and win the 2013 contest.
Industry awards programs like ours are a great way for business leaders to give back. Whether you believe in karma or not, it feels good to help others grow their own business and succeed. Unlike other programs, our judges are experience professionals and are asked to provide relevant feedback that allows our nominees to get more than just global recognition.

Jonathan is founder and CEO of exploreB2B, a platform dedicated to helping companies share, explore knowledge. Jonathan studied Mathematics at Freie Universität Berlin. He has extensive experiences with planning and developing versatile software projects. His technical background and enthusiasm for innovative web technologies form the basis for the development of exploreB2B.
Lilach Bullock is passionate about getting tangible results using social media. Listed as one of the top 20 Women Social Media Influences in Forbes (2013) and is one of the most dynamic personalities in the market, she actively leverages online marketing for her clients. Manik Kinra is co-founder and CMO of Jade Magnet, APAC and ME’s largest marketing crowdsourcing platform. Started by Manik three and a half years ago, Jade Magnet today works for some of the top customers across the globe delivering marketing support requirements. Manik has also been instrumental in marketing large scale events in Middle East (Qatar) involving national teams from across the globe.
Joshua is the head of marketing at 2600hz, the most hardcore telecom company on the planet. 2600hz is writing an operating system for telecom and it’s deployed all over the place, to great effect. He is a telecom guy through and through, managing folks at AT&T and Cingular, building Fiber at Comcast and consulting for Avaya prior to working at 2600hz. He brings a wealth of management, marketing, product and operations experience.
Chris Cayer has built a solid reputation as problem solver and solution finder for businesses in the tightest of jams. You’ll find him throwing himself full-force into new projects, applying resiliency and resolve to seeing them through. He currently hosts five shows weekly on the Business Speakers Radio Network, operates his boutique competitive intelligence firm Reyactive, and provides training internationally.
Cynthia joins us again in 2013 as an experienced and award-winning marketing, media relations, and management executive. Her communications and management expertise has helped a range of Fortune 500 corporations, small and large businesses, ad agencies, marketing firms, and non-profit associations in a variety of industries, particularly healthcare and financial services.
B2B visionary David Amsallem studied Mathematics and Engineering in Paris, France before coming to New York in 2011. He is a passionate entrepreneur and founder of HeyBubble a live chat platform designed to improve interactions between visitors and a websites staff, increase relationships with potential customers, and create trust through interactions.
Kiran is a world class marketer with a passion for all things social. Her diverse background helped her acquire the skills needed to grow into a seasoned professional that’s able to multi-task and excel in any environment. She is currently helping run campaigns, do email marketing and manage all things social.
Christopher Walkey is a multi-award winning, multiple company founder (Marketme TV) and director who specializes in innovative marketing and brings to all companies he is involved with an in-depth knowledge of increasing company awareness and presence online using video production and social networking marketing.
Anne Johnson is the Managing Director of MJ Gabel Diamond Buyers. She started in the diamond business as just a part time job while going to college. She quickly climbed the ladder, went back to school for a different degree, and now is a renowned expert helping MJ Gabel on both the buy and sell side in the diamond trade.
Lori doesn’t work for LinkedIn® but her fans call her “The LinkedIn Diva”. She is one of the most-connected women on LinkedIn. Forbes has twice included her in their Top 50 Social Media Power Influencers and currently ranks me as the #9 woman on this list. Lori’s latest book, “Keep It Real” which discusses being courageous and transparent online is scheduled for a Spring 2014 release. She serves as CEO of Integrated Alliances, helping clients become Rockstars in their own industries.
Melissa started her career with American Collectors Insurance in 1996 and has progressed through positions of increasing scope and responsibility to her current role as Vice President of Operations and Information Technology. She is often called upon to spearhead mission-critical projects that marry her skills in operations and IT, and has consistently delivered results that enhance the company’s operational efficiency, increase accessibility to information, and improve bottom-line results.
Giacomo Balli is an iOS entrepreneur and freelance developer. Originally from Florence, Italy he recently relocated to San Francisco, CA. The passion for creating apps and coming up with new ways of solving problems allowed him to release over 50 personal projects in the AppStore in addition to all the apps commissioned by companies. Currently Giacomo focuses on developing his own concepts and helping early stage startups get on their feet with an app.
Sophie Johnson started out as a copywriter in advertising in 1999. After working for both major international networks and small, boutique agencies as Head of Copy, Creative Group Head and Deputy Creative Director, Sophie founded Big Eye Dear in 2011. Big Eye Dear provides strategic and creative services within brand communications and is based in the UK. Healthcare communications and not for profit organizations are particular specialities.
Lynn White has made it her mission to empower female entrepreneurs to embrace the techie side of their businesses and to be true to themselves in their brands. Lynn created Non Techie Pros, a resource for female entrepreneurs to get in touch with their techie sides through training programs on various topics, from WordPress to social media, by using differing learning mediums, such as monthly techie webinars.
Nick Kellet has always been an innovator, whether in the fashion business, creating ground breaking software, or running a startup. His has unique mix of cross-functional skills and always has an idea or two for the next big thing. Nick has a record for making good bets and executing, building great teams and on not taking himself too seriously. He is currently immersed in curation, crowdsourcing and the value of lists.
Donna is a customer experience leader across multiple industries including Telecommunications and Insurance and is a Certified Net Promoter Score Associate™. Throughout her career, Donna has achieved proven success in increasing customer satisfaction scores, developing initiatives that drive reduction in customer complaints and utilizing analytics proactively to determine what is best for the customer experience. She is the owner of Listen, Learn, Live LLC, a customer experience consulting company.
Andrea runs Lexabi Communications; a digital Marketing & Communications firm. In 1997 she started a website development and print design firm and ran it for 7 years until deciding to devote more time to having a family. Now she has spread her entrepreneurial wings again and Lexabi is thriving helping inform, educate and assist small to medium business with their online business objectives.
Lee is an innovative Customer Engagement Practitioner, with senior leadership experience in all aspects of customer lifecycle management. He is passionate about creating dynamic environments, capable of facilitating and nurturing the development of world class customer interactions. Demonstrating a natural ability to understand consumer behavior, harness ‘voice of the customer’ data and inspire change, Lee has an exceptional record of influencing lasting, meaningful and valuable consumer relations.
Arturas is Co-Founder of IQ Polls and Happy Barometer projects. Former diplomat he has more than 20 years experience in Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Corporate Communications. Certified facilitator of FranklinCovey for Leadership programs. Arturas is teaching Corporate Communication at ISM University of Management and Economics.
